Experience a night of musical enchantment as we sweep you from the eerie shadows of Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre to the hypnotic pulse of Ravel’s Bolero. This programme celebrates the flair of the stage, featuring virtuosic vocal fireworks from renowned soprano Rebecca Murphy in Bernstein’s Glitter and Be Gay and Gounod’s Je veux vivre. From the elegant whirl of Lehár’s Gold and Silver Waltz to the high-energy kicks of Offenbach’s Can-Can, it is an evening of timeless melodies.
